MARBLE HILL -- Mildred Idell Mouser, 89, of St. Louis, formerly of Bollinger County, died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at Mark Twain Manor in St. Louis. She was born Aug. 17, 1908, at Zalma, daughter of Daniel Jefferson and Ida Mae Whitener Thomas. She and Hadley Mouser were married Dec. 10, 1927, at Zalma. He died Oct. 31, 1986...

MARBLE HILL -- Mildred Idell Mouser, 89, of St. Louis, formerly of Bollinger County, died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at Mark Twain Manor in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 17, 1908, at Zalma, daughter of Daniel Jefferson and Ida Mae Whitener Thomas. She and Hadley Mouser were married Dec. 10, 1927, at Zalma. He died Oct. 31, 1986.

She was a restaurant owner and homemaker. She was a member of the Binta Park General Baptist Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include three sons, James and Tom Mouser, both of St. Louis, and Glen Dale Mouser of Essex; two daughters, Willie Mae Back of St. Charles and Barbara Goodman of Greenville; three brothers, Glen Thomas of Advance, Fred Thomas of Marble Hill and Clarence Thomas of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at the Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the chapel, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
