BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Mildred Louise McClain, 64, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at her home.
She was born June 28, 1941, at Bloomfield, daughter of Vernon and Vercie Dunivan Cooper. She and Ray McClain were married Dec. 5, 1964, in O'Fallon, Mo.
McClain lived at Dexter, Mo., and Bloomfield all her life. She was a greeter at Wal-Mart many years, and a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church near Aquilla, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lesley Barbour of St. Louis; her mother of Bloomfield; three brothers, Milford and Larry Cooper of Bloomfield, the Rev. Gary Cooper of Advance, Mo.; three sisters, Linda McRoy and Velma White of Bloomfield, Janet Abernathy of Advance; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Church Cemetery.
