MARBLE HILL -- Mildred M. Long, 82, of Marble Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 9, 1910, at Scopus, daughter of Phillip and Hattie Kinder Long. She and Hubert E. Long were married July 16, 1932. He died Sept. 10, 1978...

MARBLE HILL -- Mildred M. Long, 82, of Marble Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 9, 1910, at Scopus, daughter of Phillip and Hattie Kinder Long. She and Hubert E. Long were married July 16, 1932. He died Sept. 10, 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Hubert Long Jr. of Affton, Ronnie Long of Jackson; two daughters, Juanita Anderson of Piedmont, Linda Crites, address unknown; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Revs. Jim Fulbright and Steven Sander will officiate, with burial in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
