Mildred Loos
Mildred Louise Loos, 84, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Lloyd and Ella Chastian Street. She and Lloyd M. Loos were married Oct. 6, 1947, in Osceola, Ark. He died Oct. 15, 2000.
Loos worked as a waitress at Colonial Tavern and the Blue Note Lounge in Cape Girardeau. She later worked for Lee Rowan in Jackson for eight years.
She attended Cape County Cowboy Church in Fruitland.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Hill of Jackson, John Loos of Benton, Mo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
