Mildred Hunsaker

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mildred Laverne Hunsaker, 66, of Chaffee died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 6, 1942, at Delta, daughter of Robert and Sophia Meyers Driskell. She and Donald Hunsaker were married Nov. 18, 1959. He died Oct. 25, 1999.

Mildred was a nurse's aide with Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and also a floor lady for Walmart in Sikeston, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Richard Hunsaker of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Belinda (Tom) Moore of Randles, Kathy (Gary) Dollar of Sikeston; a brother, Ike (Katie) Driskell of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Clara (Bill) Gramlisch of Delta; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charlie Lutes officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Mo.
