Mildred Lorene Humphreys, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Heartland Care and Rehab.
She was born March 3, 1922, in East Prairie, Mo., to John D. and Hester French Ivie. She and Harvey L. Humphreys were married June 1, 1957, at Bertrand, Mo. He died Sept. 1, 1990.
Mildred was a former member of Faith Baptist Temple and attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Paul Eldridge of Wappapello, Mo.; five daughters, Janet Finley of Las Vegas, Hope Kilburn of Chaffee, Mo., and Sharon Mathis, Mildred Matney and Vicky Nunnally, all of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vernon Long officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
