MILDRED HAUPT

Mildred L. Haupt, 89, 8998 Highway 177, died Friday, Feb. 23, 1996, at her home.

She was born May 21, 1906, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Gus and Anna Abernathy Heise. She and Martin L. Haupt were married Feb. 13, 1926, at Egypt Mills. He died June 16, 1990.

Haupt was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and Martin Haupt Jr. of Cape Girardeau; Mary Lou Snell of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Dale, Gale and Harry Heise of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Grace Hobbs of Springfield, Lillian Cundiff of Tampa, Fla., Nelda Hobbs of Hot Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Church in Egypt Mills, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, and then at the church from 1 p.m. to service time.
