Mildred Geneva McClard, 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1910, in Marble Hill, daughter of Harley W. and Mary Huffman Cobb. She first married William Earl "Butch" Shackles and later married Harry N. McClard, both of whom preceded her in death.
McClard was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Shackles of Camano Island, Wash.; two stepsons, Truman McClard of Pulaski, Tenn., Dean McClard of Prospect, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Lusella Jones of Florence, Texas; a brother, Marvin Cobb of Herrin, Ill.; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren, and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three stepsons and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Ralph Swarthout and Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
