MILDRED DICKHAUT

CHAFFEE -- Mildred Lucille Dickhaut, 82, of Chaffee died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 16, 1916, at Senath, daughter of William E. and Hattie Mills Hall. She first married Preston Prochrow in 1946. He died in 1974. She later married Ferd Dickhaut Feb. 27, 1980. He died June 7, 1993.

Dickhaut was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Hattie Flannery of St. Charles, Billie Vege of Elgin; a brother, W.E. Hall of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at O'Connor-Homeier Funeral Home in Elgin from 7-9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Wisehart officiating. Burial will be in Lake Street Memorial Park in Elgin.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee was in charge of local arrangements.
