Mildred Chapman

Mildred Chapman, daughter of the late Edward Chasteen and Mildred Pauline Priest Chasteen, was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Rector, Arkansas, and departed this life Friday, April 30, 2021, at her home in Allenville at the age of 80 years.

She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy in Delta.

On March 8, 2001, she married Aquilla Chapman; he preceded her death March 19, 2001.

Mrs. Chapman is survived by one sister, Joy (Wayne) Kinder of Allenville; one grandchild, Brandon Nance of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Nance of Chaffee, Missouri.

Apart from her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Nance; two brothers, Earl Chasteen and Eldon Chasteen; and one baby sister, Joyce Chasteen.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
