PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mildred F. Brickhaus, 80, of Perryville, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 12, 1920, at Menfro, Mo., daughter of Gustav Fritz and Lilla Mary Bergman Ochs.
She married Walter M. Brickhaus Sept. 18, 1943. He died Nov. 19, 1993.
She was a retired clerk and seamstress at Roziers Department Store. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Perryville, L.W.M.l., American Legion Auxiliary, Friedheim Lutheran Historical Society, co-author of Friedenberg Remembrances, a former teacher of Friedenberg Sunday School, PTA, and Girls Scouts.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Brickhaus of Golconda, Ill., and Glen Brickhaus of Perryville; two daughters, Margaret E. Brickhaus of Cape Girardeau, and Patricia Brickhaus of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, Calvin Ochs of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral will be held Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
