Mildred Marie Berry, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born June 7, 1913, at Covington, Tenn., daughter of Ulric and Nina Turnage Moore. She and Enloe Buchanan were married in 1932. He is deceased. She married Edward J. Berry Dec. 23, 1951, at Blytheville, Ark. He died Oct. 18, 1986.
Berry retired as a sales clerk with Stix, Baer and Fuller of St. Louis in 1976. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Cook of Dell, Ark., and a brother, Robert E. Moore of Blytheville.
A brother also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, with the Rev. Marilyn Webb officiating.
