BLOOMFIELD -- Mildred Bernard, 85, of Grand Rapids, Mich., died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, in Grand Rapids. She was born July 6, 1917, at Bloomfield, daughter of Judson and Coatnie Welker Willis. Bernard was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include a son, Ray Bernard of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Jim Willis of Dexter, Judson Willis of Sikeston; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren...

BLOOMFIELD -- Mildred Bernard, 85, of Grand Rapids, Mich., died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, in Grand Rapids.

She was born July 6, 1917, at Bloomfield, daughter of Judson and Coatnie Welker Willis.

Bernard was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include a son, Ray Bernard of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Jim Willis of Dexter, Judson Willis of Sikeston; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bloomfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Farrell officiating.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements.
