MILDRED ABERNATHY

MARBLE HILL -- Mildred M. Abernathy, 72, of Arnold and formerly of Marble Hill, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at the home of a daughter in Arnold.

She was born July 26, 1927, at Lutesville, daughter of Samuel and Grace Hilderbrand.

For many years she owned and operated a beauty shop in Lutesville.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Deck of Arnold; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill, with the Rev. Thomas Jackson officiating.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
