MILDRED A. HENDERSON

PERRYVILLE -- Mildred A. Henderson, 91, of Perryville, died Monday, Sept. 2, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 5, 1900, in Perry County, daughter of Robert and Mary Louise Erwin Hudson. She married Jesse E. Henderson Sept. 15, 1918. He died Feb. 6, 1960.

Henderson was a retired seamstress, member of Perryville United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women, and charter member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 46.

Survivors include five sons, Charles and Ray Henderson of Perryville, Bert and Madison Henderson of Wichita, Kan., Lawrence Henderson of St. Peters; a daughter, Ina Kahmke of Auxvasse; a brother, Tom Hudson of Perryville; a sister, Alma Roth of Overland; 15 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Francis; four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Statler will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Thursday. An Order of Eastern Star wake will be held at 6:30.
