Michael L. "Mike" King, 62, of Oak Ridge passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Dec. 19, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, to Buford E. and Faye M. Mansker King. Mike worked several years at West Lake Quarry near Neelys Landing. He later drove a truck for Brugger Auto, C & G Feed and Johannes Auto. Michael L. "Mike" King, 62, of Oak Ridge passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 19, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, to Buford E. and Faye M. Mansker King.

Mike worked several years at West Lake Quarry near Neelys Landing. He later drove a truck for Brugger Auto, C & G Feed and Johannes Auto. During his youth, he attended First Baptist Church in Jackson and later attended the former Neelys Mission Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Stewart (Jared Dewrock) and children Tucker, Kylie and Aspen of Cape Girardeau; loving companion, Patty Botkin of Oak Ridge; and five siblings, Roger King of Oak Ridge and Debra Farris, Randy King, Robin King and Terry King, all of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association.
