Mike Dean

Owen Michael "Mike" Dean, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013.

Beloved husband of Susan Seitz Dean; loving father of Mary Margaret "Maggie", Brian (Roanne), Timothy (Kathleen) and Anne Dean; cherished grandfather of Josephine, Marianne, George, Henry, Eleanor and Adelaide; dear brother of John Timothy (Joan) Dean and the late Mary (Cdr. John) Vogel; dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Memorial Mass was celebrated Nov. 13 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in St. Louis.

Per Mike's wishes, he gifted his body to Washington University School of Medicine to further research and education.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Diabetes Association or the Peregrine Society will be appreciated.

Kutis Affton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
