Mickey C. Horn, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 7, 2011, at his home.
He was born July 10, 1941, in Broseley, Mo., to Albert Harold "Bill" and Darlus Baker Horn.
He and Wanda Downen were married Dec. 5, 1975, at Sikeston, Mo.
Mickey served in the Navy from July 14, 1958, to April 24, 1962.
He worked in sales and has been retired since 1988. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 63.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Horn of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Kathy Wilson and her husband, Billy, of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Betty Lou Copeland of Sikeston, Mo., Susan Moyers of Haughton, La., and Debbie Maynard; three grandchildren, Samantha Schafer, Angelo Wilson and Dalton Wilson, all of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Albert Charles Horn; and one brother, Billy Horn.
Per Mickey's wishes, his body is being donated to science.
The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.
