JACKSON, Mo. -- A memorial service for Michael R. Woods of Jackson will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Patterson United Methodist Church in Patterson, Mo.

Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.

Woods, 50, died Sunday, March 17, 2002, at his home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Woods. He and Janet Mullins were married Aug. 12, 1972.

Woods was an industrial arts teacher at Scott City High School in Scott City, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Eric Woods of St. Louis; a daughter, Jennifer Woods of Asheville, N.C.; his father of Piedmont; and a sister, Ann Huck of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
