Michael Wilson

Michael Stephen Wilson, 28, of Jackson died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at his home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1982, in Cape Girardeau, to Stephen James and Margaret Ann Greer Wilson. He and Kelli Niswonger were married Dec. 27, 2008, in Cape Girardeau.

Michael was a member of Calvary Temple in Cape Girardeau. He was a salesman with Fastenal Co. He graduated from Jackson High School, where he played football and track. He also graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He volunteered with the Jackson Youth Football Program, and was an avid hunter. Michael was an awesome uncle and a caring, loving husband.

Survivors include his wife, Kelli Wilson of Jackson; his parents, Stephen James Wilson and Margaret Ann Wilson of Hartsburg, Mo.; a brother, Travis Wilson (Christy) of St. Charles, Mo.; a niece and nephew, Lauren and Zachary Wilson of St. Charles.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Greer and the Rev. Jack Cathcart officiating. Private family burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Jackson Area Youth Tackle Football Program.
