Michael Ray Wallace, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at his home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, son of Richard "Dick" and Thelma Bass Wallace.
Wallace was a retired chemist. He worked at Larron Laboratory many years. He was a member of the Salvation Army.
He was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Wallace served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Kenneth and Thomas "Tom" Wallace of Cape Girardeau, Herman Wallace of West Plains, Mo., William "Rick" Wallace of Perryville, Mo.; two sisters, Janice Nerren of Sand Springs, Okla., and Kay Lovelace of Troy, Mo.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., from 5:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Maj. Robert Gauthier officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
