Michael Paul "Grizz" Seabaugh, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 28, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, to Paul H. and Jewel Caraker Seabaugh. He and Glinda "Pitter" Ladd were married Sept. 3, 1968, at Gordonville.
Seabaugh attended La Croix United Methodist Church. He was a member of American Legion Post 63, American Legion Riders, was an elder with the Northern Cherokee Nation, member of Old Town Cape Merchants Association, and was owner of Mississippi Mud House restaurant in Cape Girardeau.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Glinda Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Jewel Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; five sons, Michael "Timexx" Seabaugh, William "Beaver" Seabaugh, Jonathan Seabaugh, Daniel Seabaugh, Ransom Seabaugh, all of Cape Girardeau; mother-in-law, Ruth Ladd of Jackson; three sisters, Teresa Gladwell of Cape Girardeau, Bonita Sanders of Sparta, Wis., Yana McIntyer of Charleston, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
There is no visitation.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ann Mowery officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by Missouri Honor Guard.
