Michael Patrick Nolan, 52, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Oct. 30, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., to John M. and Jacquelynne S. Brown Nolan. He and Susan Elizabeth Schiwitz were married Oct. 30, 1995, in Joplin, Mo.
Michael was a manager at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores in Matthews, Mo.
He graduated from North Kansas City High School where he enjoyed singing in the choir and participating in football. He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; his parents of Kansas City; two sons, Michael Graeme Nolan of San Diego, Gabriel Adam Nolan of Kansas City; a daughter, Jaimie Suzanne (Wade) Cannon of Chaffee, Mo.; a brother, Daniel (Sidonia) Nolan of Kansas City; two grandsons, Jaxon and Cimarron Cannon; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Nolan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Mo.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery at Benton.
