SCOTT CITY -- Funeral mass for Michael John Glastetter of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. The Rev. John Westhues will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 3 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7, and Knights of Columbus service at 7:30.
Glastetter, 36, died Monday, Jan. 17, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 17, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of John Zeno and Dorothy Elizabeth Vandeven Glastetter. He and Vicki Lynn Modglin were married May 20, 1978, at Kelso.
Glastetter was a 1974 graduate of Scott City High School. He was a butcher eight years with Central Foods, and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church at Kelso.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Matthew Glastetter of the home; his parents of Scott City Route 1; two brothers, Steve Glastetter of Scott City, Jim Glastetter of Benton; three sisters, Diane Glastetter of Jonesboro, Ark., Mary Baker and Carol Glastetter, Scott City Route 1.
