Michael L. Hayden, 56, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at his home in Millersville.
He was born Oct. 21, 1954, in Perryville, Mo., to the late Aloysius "Wish" and Lucille Hoffman Hayden. He and Lori Girman were married May 14, 1982.
Mike worked with the McDowell family 20 years as a sales manager at both McDowell Ford in Perryville and McDowell South in Jackson. He was a member of the Cape County Cowboy Church.
Mike's family was the love of his life. His baby granddaughter, Kaylee, brought special joy to him the past several months. He was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding and four-wheeling.
Loving survivors include his wife of 28 years, Lori, of Millersville; two daughters, Kari (Chris) Hoehne of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Roni (Michael) Putz and their daughter Kaylee of Millersville; three siblings, Norma Hitt of St. Peters, Mo., Stanley (Mary) Hayden of Hillsboro, Mo., Bonnie ("Wink") Laney of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Nancy Curtis of Chicago; mother-in-law, Ruby (Ed) Bowman of Millersville; and numerous nieces and nephews he dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ronnie Hayden and Robert Hayden; and father-in-law, Robert "Grumpy" Girman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Cape County Cowboy Church north of Jackson.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
