MICHAEL GRINDSTAFF

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Michael L. Grindstaff, 36, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at his home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1963, in Perryville, son of James E. and Carolyn M. Christisen Grindstaff. He and Susan Marie Beckerman were married July 22, 1989. She died Nov. 25, 2000.

Grindstaff was a supervisor at Gilster Mary Lee Distribution Center in McBride, Mo.

Survivors include three daughters, Angela M. Grindstaff of Sedgewickville, Mo., April L. Grindstaff and Sarah M. Grindstaff, both of Perryville; a stepson, Joshua L. Weinkein of Perryville; a brother, Jamie Grindstaff of Perryville; a sister, Dana Ferrell of Jackson, Mo.; two stepbrothers, Todd Braun of St. Peters, Mo., and Jeremy Kimmich of Jackson; father, James, and stepmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Grindstaff of Perryville; and grandmothers, Estella M. Grindstaff and Evelyn Christisen Schubert, both of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons chapel. The Rev. Michael Kelpe will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
