JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for James Michael Gay of LaVergne, Tenn., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, Ky. John Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Pace Cemetery in Hardin, Ky.
Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Smyrna, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
Gay, 36, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Covington, Ky., son of James and Anna Brown Gay. He married Susan Nussbaum of Jackson, Mo.
Gay received a bachelor of science degree in engineering physics from Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
He was a systems analyst with Caterpillar Financial. He was a member of Hardin Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Hardin; and a sister, Lea Ann Brandon of Benton, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his father.
