Funeral for Michael Lee Floyd of Southaven, Miss., was held Monday at Forest Hill South Chapel in Memphis, Tenn. Burial was in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
Floyd, 52, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999, in the Emergency Room at Baptist Desoto Hospital.
He was born in 1947 in Cape Girardeau, son of Wilbur and Lorene Floyd.
Floyd was an account manager with Kimberly Clark. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Louise; three sons, Lee Floyd of Southaven, Trevor and Travis Floyd of Memphis; a stepson, Paul Wheeler of Southaven; and a stepdaughter, Gina Anderson of Southaven.
Also surviving are his parents of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Jack Floyd of Jackson; a sister, Mary Schlegal of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a granddaughter.
