Michael Ernst

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Michael J. "Mikee" Ernst, 50, of Perryville died Saturday May 17, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Perry County on May 14, 2014.

He was born Jan. 13, 1964, at Perry County, Missouri, to Arnold and Margaret Wibbenmeyer Ernst.

He married Deana R. King on June 7, 2003, at Perryville. Mike was self-employed.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Dee Ernst of Perryville; his mother: Margaret Ernst of Biehle, Missouri; two sons, Chris and Alex Reid of Columbia, Missouri, and David and Angie Hudson of Perryville; three daughters, Beth and Brian Bolding of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kyla and Chad Stelling of Altenburg, Missouri, and Heather and Nathan Blechle Hudson of Oak Ridge; two sisters, Denise Jones of St. Louis and Cathy Beck of Eureka, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Ernst of Biehle and Ronnie Ernst of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tony Dattilo officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery, Biehle.
