POPLAR BLUFF -- Michael Duane Knudson, 45, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born Oct. 2, 1951, at St. Louis, son of Duane and Helen Griffin Knudson.
He was a cook for Cedar Point Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff.
He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his parents of Doniphan; a son, Johnathan Knudson of the home; a daughter, Becky Knudson of the home; two brothers, Gary Knudson of Nashville, Tenn., and Keith Knudson of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Sharon Shubert of Cahokia, Ill.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. A prayer service will be held at 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Oliver Clavin will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
