Michael L. "Mike" Conley, 55, of Jackson died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born July 4, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of William R. and Virginia Crader Conley. He and Reita Schweain were married Sept. 1, 1967, in Jackson.
Conley had worked at Todt Sheet Metal, Perryville Steel, and had been a real estate agent with Capaha Realty since 1993. He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, American Legion and the Elks, all in Jackson.
He served in the U.S. Army from Oct. 17, 1968, to Oct. 1, 1974.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Guy Conley of Millersville; a daughter, April Harris of Burfordville; a brother, Richard Conley of Jackson; two sisters, Bonnie Butler of Arnold, Mo., Linda Jansen of Jackson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at New McKendree Church after 2 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial service will be held at the church at 4 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. John Rice officiating. A Missouri Military Honors service will be held.
McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
