Michael Theodore Capone, 71, of Ellington, Mo., departed this life Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 10, 1941, in St. Louis, son of the late Michael and Edna Bumb Capone. He and Kelly Johnson were married June 20, 1996.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Capone of Ellington; a brother, Santos Capone of Tulsa, Okla.; four sons, Jeff (Linda) Capone of Cape Girardeau, Rob (Dawn) Capone, Matt (Liz) Capone and Mark (Jackie) Capone, all of Fredericktown, Mo.; five daughters, Lisa Capone of Jackson, Jennifer (Levi) Kester of Oak Ridge, Christina (Matthew) Ernst of Friedheim, Tausha (James) Garrett of Fairbanks, Alaska, Courtney Capone of Ellington; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rick Capone; and a sister, Ann Voellinger.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aaren Sirclum, Rod Johnson, Matthew Ernst, Levi Kester, Brad Haynes and James Garrett.
