KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Michael Lee Anderson of Karnak will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Century High School gymnasium. The Revs. Shawn Wasson and Jeff Wallace will officiate, with burial in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
Friends may call at the gym from 6-9 p.m. today.
Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Anderson, 17, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky. He was injured in a truck-train accident April 14 at the Foreman Railroad Crossing on Belknap Road in Johnson County.
He was born May 7, 1980, in Paducah, son of Steve and Glenda Anderson. He was a senior at Century High School, and member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Glenda and Kevin Williams of Vienna; father and stepmother, Steve and Donna Anderson of Jonesboro; two brothers, Dennis Anderson of Karnak, Allen Anderson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two stepbrothers, Tim Williams of Wittenberg, Wis., Kade Corzine of Jonesboro; three stepsisters, Mindy Williams of Wittenberg, Tonya and Hannah Corzine of Jonesboro; grandparents, Kenneth and Laverne Anderson of Karnak, the Rev. Travis and Doris Rose Sr. of Olmsted; and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Henderson of Clarksville, Ga.
