PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Metta Mae Fellows, 97, formerly of Sedgewickville, Mo., passed to eternal life Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, in Perryville.
She was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Yount, Mo., daughter of John "Henry" and Canzada V. Loberg Biri. She and Everett L. Fellows were married March 29, 1932, in Perryville. He passed away March 18, 1984.
Metta is most known for her skills at sewing and quilting, which she was able to do until her eyesight failed. She lived with her brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Edna Schumer Biri of Perryville.
She had no children but many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating. Interment will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Sedgewickville Cemetery Fund.
