SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Meryl H. Moorman of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Buck will officiate, with burial in Old Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Moorman, 80, died Wednesday, June 30, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 8, 1913, in Little Rock, Ark., daughter of Joe L. and Katherine Moss Hines. She and George Clark Moorman were married Feb. 9, 1935, in Somerville, Tenn. He died March 11, 1976.

Moorman was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, George Moorman of Sikeston; three grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
