MEREDITH P. GORMAN

PERRYVILLE -- Meredith P. Gorman, 77, of Perryville, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1992 at the American Care Center in Perryville.

Gorman was born Aug. 21, 1915 in Perry County, son of Daniel A. and Theresa Pourney Gorman.

He was retired from Carter Carburetor of St. Louis.

He is survived by five sisters, Virginia Cissel and Margaret Kahdeman, both of St. Louis and Vivian Ernst, Doris Eddleman and Annette L'Hote, all of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, and American Legion Post #133.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30 to 9:45 a.m. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. today.

Service will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent's De Paul Church, with Rev. Edward Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
