Melva McEndree

At long last, Melva McEndree, 94, reunited with her beloved C.W. "Mac" McEndree and cherished grandson, Scott McEndree on Friday, June 29, 2012.

Her children will hold her in their hearts always -- Maureen and Sam Ottenlips (daughter and son-in-law) and Michael and Diane McEndree (son and daughter-in-law). Her grandchildren and their families will treasure the traditions of "Mama Dart" for years to come, including the leaning Christmas tree of Bessie Street -- Stacy, Matthew, Bonita, Kim and Stace, Melissa and Quain, and Michelle and David. Her great-grandchildren will learn to appreciate the limited runs to Pagliai's Pizza for what become more than a "special" but a McEndree legacy -- Alia, Alexandra, Aylia, Bo, Cale, Delaney, Kolbe, Mac, Rhone and Sydney.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until time of service at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, Mo.

A gathering of friends will be held at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Metropolis Church of Christ, 3003 N. U.S. 45 Road, with entombment at 2:30 p.m. at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum in Metropolis, Ill.
