PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melissa Lenore Stortz, 47, of Perryville died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 9, 1969, in St. Louis to Buford and Beverly Ogilvy Walker. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Gary Chapman of Farmington, Missouri, and her stepmom, Jean Walker of Winfield, Missouri; two daughters, Amanda Rose and Samantha Stortz of Perryville; four grandchildren, Jocelynn, Carlenna, Michael and Adalee; three sisters, Kristine Benus of Centralia, Missouri, Gina (Shawn) Whitworth of Scott City and Mary (David) Callaway of Winfield, Missouri; a stepbrother, Bo Pemberton of Tennessee; a stepsister, Kim Callaway of Winfield, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.. ...

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
