Melba Heise Emmons died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert G. and Katie Kimmich Heise. On Sept. 23, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, she married John Emmons, who died Feb. 12, 1979.

She worked at First National Bank as an assistant cashier for 34 years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one brother, Gene Heise of Cape Girardeau, and one sister, Alberta Heise Claussner of Paducah, Ky.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
