Melba B. Roth, 74, 1504 E. Riverside, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Minnith, daughter of John and Irene Schaaf Boyd. She and Albert J. Roth were married July 16, 1938, in Ste. Genevieve. He died Feb. 20, 1988...

Melba B. Roth, 74, 1504 E. Riverside, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Minnith, daughter of John and Irene Schaaf Boyd. She and Albert J. Roth were married July 16, 1938, in Ste. Genevieve. He died Feb. 20, 1988.

Roth was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, its Cathedral Ladies, and St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Gregory Roth of Stevenville, Mich.; a daughter, Judy Bass of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Delmar Boyd of Perryville, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
