CHARLESTON -- M.C. Gillespie, 59, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born March 29, 1932, at Henson. Gillespie was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Omagene; three sons, Gregory Gillespie of Miami, Fla., Bryan and Schulyer Gillespie of the home; two daughters, Carla Gillespie of Minneapolis, Minn., Lana Gillespie of the home; four brothers, Perry, Emmitt, Theodore Jr. and Larry Gillespie, all of Charleston; two sisters, Margaret Nelson and Sarah Lewis of Michigan City, Ind.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Perry Chapel AME Church here. The Rev. Joe L. Travis will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Sunday.
