MAZIE C. CROSIER

CAIRO, Ill. -- Mazie C. Crosier, 83, of Cairo, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Sunday, May 1, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born March 7, 1911, at Willard, daughter of Carl and Novella Lee Simpson Bauer. She and Robert L. Crosier were married April 27, 1932.

Crosier was employed at Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston, retiring in 1952. She had lived in Cairo since 1963, and was a member of Tigert United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Carl Crosier of East Prairie; three brothers, Earl Bauer of Olive Branch, Harry "Jack" Bauer of Cairo, Carl Bauer of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Fleecy Yates of Willard, and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Provines officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
