JACKSON, Mo. -- Mayme M. Galemore, 83, of Jackson died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 31, 1916, in Lepanto, Ark., daughter of John H. and Docia Mae King Young. She and Raymond L. Galemore were married Oct. 7, 1932, at Jackson. He died Aug. 15, 1988.
Formerly of Blodgett, Mo., she was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include a daughter, Janie Beaird of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rosie Phegley of Chaffee; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley, Mo.
