SIKESTON -- Mayme Elizabeth Moyers, 89, of Sikeston, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1991, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
She was born Nov. 2, 1901, in Marquand, daughter of Andrew King Tinnin and LuLu Mae Smith Tinnin.
She was a secretary at the Fredericktown High School, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Royal Neighbors of America in Fredericktown.
She married Earnest Earl Moyers. He died Jan. 16, 1987.
Survivors are one son, Melvin Moyers, Sikeston; two brothers, George Tinnin, Houston, Texas, Russell Tinnin, St. Louis; one sister, Lillian McEntee, St Louis; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Service will be at the chapel at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. James Norris officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tom Geers.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the I.O.O.S. Cemetery in Fredericktown.
