ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Mayme Bell Snider of Advance will be held at 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with Harold Althen officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
Snider, 88, died Sunday, April 24, 1994, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 25, 1905, at Dongola, Mo., daughter of Thomas Grant and Emma Robinson Revelle. She and Roy Snider were married July 29, 1922, at Marble Hill. He died Oct. 13, 1976.
Snider was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Advance.
Survivors include a son, Jack Snider, Advance Route 2; three daughters, Oneta Grindstaff of Bethalto, Ill., Betty Harrell of St. Louis, Helen Williams of Texas; a sister, Lillie Swanson of Benton, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and two sisters.
