Maxine Mayfield, 85, of Vidor, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, in Beaumont, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Cape Girardeau and was employed many years at Zickfield Jewelry. Survivors include a son, Joe Roy Mayfield Jr.; two daughters, Donna Nicholson (Bennie) of Vidor; Nancy Smith of Houston; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild...

Maxine Mayfield, 85, of Vidor, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, in Beaumont, Texas.

She was a longtime resident of Cape Girardeau and was employed many years at Zickfield Jewelry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mayfield Sr.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
