OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Funeral service for Maurice "Bub" Willis of Olive Branch will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. The Revs. Billy Don Heady and Carl Hester will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Willis, 60, died Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was born May 10, 1936, in Miller City, son of Roy Allen and Eshcol Lesar Willis.

Willis worked in construction from 1960 to 1964, then went to work as an electrician for McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis and Cape Canaveral where he worked on the F-4 Phantom and Skylab projects. He returned to Olive Branch in 1973 to join his father on the family farm.

He was a member of Farm Bureau and Illinois Agriculture Association. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include a son, Marty Willis of Kirksville, Mo.; two daughters, Theresa Lamburth of Cape Girardeau, Sherrie Malone of Pulaski; his mother of Olive Branch; a sister, Darlyn Pearman of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Gregory Willis of Shreveport, La.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
