BERTRAND -- Maurice A. Wright, 58, of Bertrand, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Cuba, Mo., son of Virgil and Mabel Wright. He first married Peggy Parr Bearden, and later married Bonnie Parker.
Wright was a retired driver with Coss Construction Co. He was a member of Cornerstone General Baptist Church and VFW. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, Maurice Wright of Sikeston, Bryan Wright of Bertrand; three brothers, Marvin Wright of Ontario, Calif., Daniel Moit of Schererville, Ind., Manuel Moit of Bertrand; a sister, Helen Jenkins of Dexter, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cornerstone Church. The Revs. Tim Russell and Dariel Hodge will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
