CAIRO, Ill. -- Maudie L. Williams, 76, of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 19, 1994, at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was born Jan. 26, 1918, at Wickliffe, Ky., daughter of John and Ellen Dennis Hall.
She married Jesse A. Williams. He died in 1980.
Williams was a retired waitress.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessie Williams of Loxahatchee, Fla., Nancy Spraggs of Delray Beach, Fla.; a step-son, Joe Williams of Cairo; three brothers, John Hall of Delray Beach, Jack Hall of Pocatello, Idaho, Billy Joe Dennis of Wickliffe; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo, with the Rev. Bill Gholson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mound City National Cemetery.
