MAUD OBERMILLER

Maud S. Obermiller, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Aug. 18, 1901, in Pomona, Ill., daughter of Walter William and Della Cripps Smith. She and Glen H. Obermiller were married July 15, 1938, in Evansville, Ind. He died June 2, 1983...

Maud S. Obermiller, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 18, 1901, in Pomona, Ill., daughter of Walter William and Della Cripps Smith. She and Glen H. Obermiller were married July 15, 1938, in Evansville, Ind. He died June 2, 1983.

She and her husband operated Obermiller's Floor Covering. She was a member of First Christian Church and Cape Girardeau Business Women's Association.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Blanche Smith of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Curran officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
